The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Kogi State Wing, has expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, and his Deputy, Comrade Elder Joel Salifu Oyibo, the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, for the implementation of promotions for Basic Education Teachers in the state.
NUT State Chairman, Comrade Ayoola Abayomi, said the commendable implementation is a testament to the fact that the Chief Servant of Kogi State is a beacon of hope to all civil servants in the state, most especially Basic Education Teachers, with regards to their welfare and other special packages.
In a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Comrade Hassan Jonathan, the Union reaffirmed its unwavering commitment and support for the Ododo-led administration.
NUT pledged its support for Governor Ododo’s second term, declaring that “there is no vacancy in Lugard House in 2027”.
