Dr Suberu Yusuf-John, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Gov. Ahmed Ododo of Kogi on Road Safety Matters, has been honoured with the prestigious ethics and leadership award for his outstanding contributions to road safety in Nigeria.
The award, issued by Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation (CESVO), a non-governmental organization (NGO), readily earned him two prestigious certificates in recognition of his ethical leadership and outstanding service as a public servant.
These are the Corporate Award Certificate and the Certificate of Public Conduct after successfully passing the Ethical Conduct and Leadership Integrity Test (ECLIT).

Following this achievement, Suberu has been enlisted among the Top 100 Highly Rated Most Ethically Upright Political Appointees at the sub-national level in Nigeria.
While presenting the award to Hon. Suberu, ECLIT said, “The award is in recognition of Hon. Suberu’s contributions to citizens’ well-being, quality service delivery, national interest, integrity in public office, and effective time management.

“It’s also as a result of his stakeholder engagement, ethical leadership, fiscal discipline, quality assurance in public service delivery, participatory management, and effective monitoring and supervision of traffic activities in Kogi State.”
Receiving the award, Suberu expressed appreciation to the organisers for the recognition and honour bestowed upon him.
Represented by Mr S.S Ayenijo, Road Marshal Assistant 1 of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Suberu noted that the honour would further inspire him and others in public service to remain committed to excellence and ethical conduct.
The award, however, came as a result of Hon. Suberu’s dedication and hard work, which has earned him many recognitions and awards over time,
It also shows that consistency and commitment to service always pays and yields positive results.
Only recently, Hon. Suberu has also been conferred with the prestigious honourary title of the Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation (CESVO), and now “Ambassador of Ethics and Conscience (AEC).”
He will now be formally addressed as Hon. Suberu Yusuf-John, PhD, Aec.
