What roles have they played in the USA, Isreal and Iranian conflicts ?
The UN had been actively involved in trying to resolve the conflicts between the USA, Isreal and IRAN , recently, they UN ‘s child Agency UNICEF expressed concern over the escalation of violence in the middle east , calling for an immediate cessation of hostilities
The African union had also been working to address peace and security challenges on the continent including terrorism and violence extremism, they have emphasized the need for predictable adequate and sustainable funding for peace support operation
The European union has a strategic partnerships with the UN on peace and security focussing on conflict prevention , peace building and crisis management they are contributing to UN peace keeping mission and providing financial support
But let remember this , the Iran’s ambassador to the UN has ruled out negotiations with the US for Now , offering defense as the only language for talking with the US , the US and Isreal have launched joint strikes on Iran which was retaliated by Iran with missile and drone attacks
The international community is urging calm and calling for de- escalation for example Indonesia is trying to mediate and has put discussions with the US – led Board of peace which was put on hold due to the conflicts
