The Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Strategic Investment and Liaison with Federal Agencies, Amb. (Chief) Hassiat Suleiman, has been honoured by the Concerned Mothers in the Niger-Delta and Nigeria (COMIND) in recognition of her outstanding achievements and professional distinction.

The event, held at the Maryam Babangida National Centre for Women Development, Abuja, on 4th of March was part of the organisation’s Annual Summit, traditionally organised to commemorate International Women’s Day and celebrate women who have demonstrated excellence, leadership, and commitment to community service.

According to the organisation, Hajia Hassiat’s nomination reflects her dedication to values that align strongly with COMIND’s core principles of service and excellence.

In her remarks, the award recipient commended the organisation for the initiative and expressed appreciation for the honour bestowed on her, describing it as a call to greater service.

She pledged to extend her efforts beyond Kogi State and its environs to other parts of the country.

She also encouraged youths and women, both married and single to remain resilient and purposeful. Drawing from her personal life experiences and journey, she urged them to be active contributors to their families and society.

Amb. Hassiat further advised participants to remain steadfast, hardworking, prayerful, and focused in order to attain greater heights.

In a statement to the press, she praised the organisation, particularly its Founder and National President, Dr. Veronica Ogosi, for the recognition, noting that being appreciated for one’s life journey despite its challenges is a reward in itself.

Amb. Hassiat’s contributions continue to inspire women and young professionals from Kogi State to the Niger Delta and beyond, as the award underscores her role as a model of professionalism and dedicated service.
