Senator Isah Jibrin (Echocho) has began distribution of food items to his constituents across Kogi East district.
The Ramadan support initiative, which included the distribution of rice, groundnut oil, and salt, was distributed t constituents to ease the burden of fasting families, particularly the vulnerable and less privileged.
According to a statement by the Senator’s special assistant on media, Mikail Ibrahim, the gesture reflected the Senator’s deep understanding of the economic realities faced by many households and his commitment to standing with his people during this sacred period.
Beneficiaries across the nine local government areas of Kogi East expressed gratitude for the timely intervention. Beneficiaries described the outreach as thoughtful and impactful, noting that such support not only strengthens the spirit of Ramadan but also reinforces the bond between the representative and the people.
Speaking through his senior legislative aide, Alhaji Danlami Garba, Senator Echocho reaffirmed his dedication to inclusive representation, stating that leadership must go beyond legislation to practical acts that directly touch lives.
He emphasized that Ramadan is a season of sacrifice, generosity, and unity values that should guide both public and private conduct.
