In a show of appreciation and magnanimity towards the educational empowerments of undergraduates and relentless contribution to the society, Prince Abubakar Audu University, (PAAU) Ayingba will be conferring a Honourary Doctorate on Asiwaju Engr. Prince Olatunji Olusoji on 24th January, 2026.
In a press statement emanating from the Press / Protocol Unit of the university, the great philanthropist was recognised for his “tremendous influence and support towards educational development in Nigeria”.
“As a laudable and development – friendly institution, sir, we are glad to confer on you a Honourary Doctorate as approved by the University Governing Council in its last quarterly meeting. We shall be glad to receive you if you accept this offer. Congratulations sir!,” the letter from the office of the University Registrar reads.
Notably, Asiwaju Prince (Dr.) Olatunji Olusoji has been supportive of initiatives that is geared towards the emancipation of the downtrodden and the vulnerable in the society.
In appreciation of his laudable efforts and scholarship schemes, Prince Abubakar Audu University PAAU Ayingba is one of the numerous citadel of learning rewarding Asiwaju Olusoji’s rare patriotism and unprecedented compassion.
