Senator Sunday Karimi’s visionary strides following the ongoing disbursement of the 2025 Annual Student Bursary Programme deserves commendation.
The initiative which will benefit 2,675 Kogi students in State and Federal higher institutions, with a cumulative cost of about N280,000,000, showcasing Senator Karimi’s commitment to educational advancement and human capital development.
Each beneficiary has been captured to receive the sum of N100,000, that will no doubt eased economic burdens and enabled academic focus.
The disbursement reflects a structured and transparent grassroots empowerment approach.
The initiative as “a strategic investment in Kogi West, Kogi State, and Nigeria’s future,” knowing that education as a key factor to social mobility, poverty reduction, and development.
This bursary programme restores hope, inspires excellence, and shows responsive leadership.
I applaud the program for institutionalizing educational support and setting a benchmark for public office holders, and urge beneficiaries to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to excellence.
