Rep Abejide Donates Residential, Operational Facilities to Nigerian Army to Boost Security

House of Representatives member, Hon. Leke Joseph Abejide has donated residential and operational properties to the Nigerian Army to strengthening collaboration in the fight against insecurity within his constituency.

The donation was made to the Chari Maigumeri Barracks of the Nigerian Army’s 12th Brigade in Lokoja. The facilities were formally received on behalf of the Army by the Brigade Commander, Brigadier General K.U. Sidi.

Receiving the donation, Brig. Gen. Sidi acknowledged the gesture and expressed appreciation to the federal lawmaker for his consistent support and commitment to enhancing security operations. He described the intervention as timely and significant, noting that improved welfare and operational infrastructure would further boost the morale and effectiveness of troops deployed to safeguard lives and property.

Hon. Abejide, who is representing Yagba Federal Constituency, reiterated his resolve to continue partnering with security agencies to promote peace and stability in the area, stressing that security remains a collective responsibility requiring sustained collaboration between government representatives and security institutions.
