All these orchestrated falsehoods and operation bring – him – down- from -his – high – altitude are dead on arrival!

LAW & EQUITY
So many agitations in favour of Salman’s 2027 ambition are driven by popular demand for equitable distribution of power in Kabba-Bunu/ Ijumu.
For real, it is the facts of a case that determines the applicability of the principles of equity.
In the case of Hon. Salman Idris, equity, fairness and justice has come into play while law will surely navigate through where it’s applicable.
- The argument of some people is that Ijumu and Kabba have taken their turns. It is now left for Bunu to produce the next House of Representatives.
This argument can only hold water where equity has been holistically followed in the previous elections.
However, can this argument be sustained in law? This question can’t be answered in the affirmative.
Reason! Lets consider it hereunder:
- The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) remains the supreme law of the land. The provisions of the constitution is supreme and therefore overrides every other law.
PERFORMANCE
Performance is of great importance in politics. When an elected officer fails to perform to the satisfaction of the electorate, he is bound to lose in subsequent elections. The people and the party will express their bitterness by voting against him.

By his Chamber and Outside Chamber Performance, though, not one that blows trumpets over his achievements.
The purported challenges he is facing in the hands of his critics is caused by under – reportage of his achievements as a Rep.
Consequently, some of us have taken it upon ourselves to do the reportage pro bono — we are not being paid to do this. This article is driven by objectivity so that they can be embraced by our target audience.
