The Head of Civil Service of Kogi State, Dr. Elijah Adeiza Evinemi, has extended his warm New Year felicitations to all civil servants and citizens of the State.

In a statement issued to newsmen in Lokoja, Dr. Evinemi called on civil servants to rededicate themselves to excellence, integrity, and unwavering commitment to service in the year ahead. He emphasized that the Civil Service must continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism in the discharge of its duties to the people of Kogi State.

He expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, FCA, for his sustained commitment to workers’ welfare, particularly the prompt payment of salaries and other entitlements. According to him, these interventions have significantly boosted morale and strengthened the resolve of the workforce to deliver efficient and accountable public service.

Dr. Evinemi assured the Governor that civil servants would continue to reciprocate his support by maintaining diligence, discipline, and highquality service delivery across all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies.

He wished all workers and residents of Kogi State a happy, peaceful, and prosperous 2026.
