Our attention has been drawn to a reckless, sponsored, and malicious publication allegedly issued by an unknown and non-existent group from Kogi State parading itself as the Kogi APC Renaissance Group, with one Adejo Emmanuel fraudulently presented as its spokesperson. The said publication questions the appointment and inclusion of our leader, Former Governor His Excellency Yahaya Adoza Bello, in the APC Osun Primary exercise.
The publication titled “Osun Primary: Yahaya Bello’s inclusion brings party to disrepute — Kogi APC group” is a blatant falsehood, deliberately crafted to mislead the public, smear a respected party leader, and stir unnecessary tension within the APC.
For the avoidance of doubt, no such organisation exists in Kogi State. Those hiding behind this fake identity should summon the courage to come out openly instead of cowardly hiding behind keyboards to peddle fabricated narratives.
This desperate attack clearly exposes the fear and insecurity of its sponsors and their paymasters, who are deeply threatened by the political sagacity, national relevance, and enduring influence of Former Governor Yahaya Bello, even after leaving office. His continued prominence within the APC and Nigerian politics remains a nightmare to political jobbers who survive on deception and blackmail.
Former Governor Yahaya Bello has consistently demonstrated capacity, loyalty, and effectiveness both during and after his tenure. He remains a formidable pillar of the APC and has never failed in any assignment entrusted to him by the party.
The ODODO SEASON 2 GRASSROOT NETWORK therefore issues a final and stern warning to these faceless characters to immediately desist from further falsehoods and sponsored propaganda. Politics demands courage, responsibility, and integrity—not childish antics and anonymous attacks.
Let it be clearly stated: FGYB’s political network across the North Central and Nigeria at large remains a powerful and decisive force, one that any serious political party must reckon with in any electoral contest.
