The Ododo Season 2 Project Campaign Group has commended President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for endorsing Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for a second term in office.
At the Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre in Lokoja earlier today, President Tinubu, represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, officially received former Kogi State Governor, Captain Idris Wada, alongside several other opposition leaders, into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In his address, the Vice President reaffirmed that the APC remains the strongest and most viable political party in Kogi State, citing the overwhelming turnout of loyal party members from across the state who attended the event.
He further Appreciated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the entire APC structure in Kogi for their dedication, loyalty, and steadfastness.
He then used the occasion to formally endorse Governor Ododo for another tenure as Governor of Kogi State.
According to the Campaign Group, this endorsement aligns with their long-standing call for continuity and consolidation in the state.
The group emphasized that Governor Ododo’s achievements within his current tenure have justified the push for a second term, which forms the core of their advocacy.
