Nigeria stands at a turning point where the truth must no longer bow to flattery. Our democracy has been weakened by political sycophants who prioritize praise over performance and loyalty over leadership.
True governance thrives on accountability, not deception. When citizens glorify incompetence, corruption becomes culture and mediocrity becomes policy. It’s time for Nigerians — especially the youth — to rise with courage and reject the politics of praise-singing and manipulation.
We must demand integrity, promote transparency, and reward service built on merit, not connection. This new political awakening must be guided by ideas, not inducements; principles, not propaganda.
The time has come to rise — not in anger, but with wisdom and conviction. Our democracy will only stand when truth becomes louder than flattery and the people’s voice becomes stronger than the echoes of deceit.
