The mother of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State has donated 300 pieces of clothes to empower an Adavi-based group.
Chairman of Onyi Ododo Forum New Zango in Adavi local government area, Hon. Tijani Salawu commended the mother of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the donations made to the group.
He added that the group is preparing for massive empowerment for the entire forum ahead of December 2025, noting that every community that form Onyi Ododo Forum will benefit immensely from the empowerment.
The Treasurer of Onyi Ododo Forum, Mallam Ibrahim urged the forum to come out enmass and participate in the ongoing permanent voters registration card. He added that the ongoing exercise will last till next year January.
The Chairman of Ida-Ovu community, Hon Yunusa Osuwa passed vote of confidence on the Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo and endorsed him for second term come 2027. He emphasized on the unity and togetherness of the forum, saying that with one mind more progress is coming to the forum.
The Chairman of Onyi Ododo Forum New Zango, Musari Salawu said no more opposition in Kogi State, adding that 2027 election is already a done deal for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo. He appreciated the mother of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo over the clothes she donated to the forum. He noted that both the Executive, Women leaders and stakeholders will convene a meeting to brainstorm on how to share the clothes and get back immediately to the forum.
