Kabba – based entrepreneur and philanthropist of unequal repute, Prince Segun Arokoyo (Alabiye) has hailed the appointment of Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as INEC Chairman Designate.
In a statement from his media officer, he described the appointment of Prof. Joash Amupitan as a perfect fit, considering the enviable record of service and exemplary leadership qualities of the learned scholar.
For us in the North Central extraction, equity, fairness and justice was put into consideration in the appointment. This is the first time an Okun man will be considered for this sensitive position,” the statement further stated.
“Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan has proven beyond reasonable doubt that he is eminently qualified to lead the electoral body to the next level. Previewing his positive antecedence, I’m positive that our elections in Nigeria will be more open, credible & fair post Yakubu Mahmoud era,” he posited.
