I extend my warmest congratulations and heartfelt felicitations to all Nigerians and especially to the great people of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency on the momentous occasion of Independence Day and the dawn of a new month, October. This day marks not only the renewal of our commitment to nationhood but also a fresh opportunity for progress as we step into the final quarter of the year. Independence Day is more than just a public holiday; it is a profound celebration of our journey, our resilience and the sacrifices of our past heroes.

Sixty-five years ago, we inherited a nation brimming with potential, defined by its diverse cultures, unwavering spirit and boundless hope. As we reflect on the challenges we have collectively overcome, we must also look forward with renewed optimism to the great future that awaits us.

For the people of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu, this October must be a month of renewed dedication to communal development and unity. The collective strength of our Federal Constituency lies in the bond we share, regardless of which town or village we call home. We must continue to foster an environment where dialogue thrives, every voice is heard and the welfare of our citizens—particularly our youths, women and the elderly—remains paramount.

As an architect and a committed stakeholder in our community’s development, I believe in building not just structures but a sustainable future anchored on mutual respect and shared prosperity. Let us use this new month as a blueprint for accelerated development, focusing on impactful projects that improve our infrastructure, enhance educational opportunities and support local enterprise.

May the spirit of Independence continue to inspire us to work together, bridging divides and focusing on the things that unite us. Let us embrace October with a mindset of possibilities, believing that our best days—as a nation and as a constituency—are still ahead.

On the issue of security, efforts are being put in place to finally neutralize those invaders terrorizing our area. As you might have read, a clean-up exercise has started along the Kwara-Kogi axis by the gallant troops of the Nigerian Army and the exercise will continue until peace is finally restored. I am also making personal efforts for the sustainability of peace after the clean-up exercise. While security issues and efforts cannot be made public in their entirety, I want to assure you that we are making progress in the right direction.

Happy Independence Day, Nigeria! Happy New Month to all the wonderful people of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency! May God bless you all and continue to bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
