The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman, has commiserated with the Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Asiwaju Idris Asiru, on the painful loss of his beloved father who has returned to his Creator.
In a statement signed by Uredo Omale, the Director, Public Relations and Protocol, the Rector noted that the passing of Baba Asiru was indeed a great loss but takes solace in the fact that he lived a fulfilled and impactful life, anchored on faith in Almighty Allah (SWT), love for family and commitment to the service of humanity.
He prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives his shortcomings, accepts his good deeds and grants him Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
He further prayed that Allah strengthens Hon. Asiwaju Idris Asiru, the entire Asiru family and all loved ones to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude and faith.
