Kogi Govt Appreciates Forest Guards With 5 Motorcycles, Operational Logistics After Successful Rescue Operation

Kogi State Government has shown appreciation to the men and officers of the Nigerian Forest Security Service (NFSS) for their bravery in rescuing 17 kidnapped victims last week.

As a token of appreciation and to motivate the team, the state government donated 5 motorcycles and other operational Logistics to the NFSS.

The donation is a reflection of the state government’s commitment to supporting the NFSS in their efforts towards contributing to the maintainance of peace and stability in Kogi State.

The donation of motorcycles and operational Logistics to the NFSS is expected to enhance their mobility and operational efficiency, enabling them to respond quickly to emergencies and prevent crimes. This gesture will likely boost the morale of the security personnel and motivate them to continue providing excellent service to the state.

Receiving the items, the state commandant of the NFSS Kogi state command Commander Paul Monday appreciated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the kind donations and his commitments towards the security of lives and properties in Kogi state.

Commander Paul Monday assured of the determination of the NFSS to work with other security agencies towards eradicating criminal elements in the forest of Kogi state, noting that with the emergence of the NFSS there would no longer be any hiding place for criminals in the forest.
