In continuation of her tour of local government areas of Kogi central to sensitive the people on the ongoing continuous voters registration (CVR) exercise, the state Accountant General, Hajiya Habibat Tijani Onumoko, on Wednesday, paid a courtesy visit to an All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart in Okehi LGA, Hon. Abdulkarim Saliu.
The State Accountant General and her entourage were received received by a tumultuous crowd of party supporters at the Ihima residence of the APC leader.
In his welcome address, the APC leader who thanked the Accountant General for the visit, commended her for adequately representing the women in the APC administration in the state.
Hon. A.K. Saliu, who is a two term member of the National Assembly, also commended the Accountant General for her support for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration.
While assuring that Okehi is the home of APC, Hon Slaihu urged the party to continue to do the right thing and speak with one voice.
Also speaking, an ex-state chairman of the APC, Hon. Ibrahim Ahovi who was part of the visiting delegation, thanked Hon. A.K Saliu and other party supporters in the local government for the warm reception accorded the visiting delegation.
The former party chairman then solicited the support of the people for Governor Ododo’s administration.
In her speech, the Accountant General of the state, Hajiya Habibat Tijani Onumoko thanked the APC leader for the rousing welcome accorded her entourage.
She also commended Hon. A.K Saliu’s leadership.
