‎The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has condemned in the strongest terms the unfortunate incident of vandalization that occurred at the party’s Omala Local Government Area office in Abejukolo on Saturday, 30th August, 2025.

According to the Chairman, Omala LGA chapter of ADC, Odaudu Ojonimi Friday, unknown persons, under the cover of darkness, forcefully gained access to the premises and maliciously destroyed valuable property, including tables, chairs, party documents and flags.

“This act is not only criminal but also a direct attack on democracy, peace, and the values our party represents. Political differences should never be expressed through violence or destruction. We urge our members and supporters to remain calm, law-abiding, and not to retaliate in any form.

‎”The African Democratic Congress remains resolute in its commitment to democratic principles, peaceful engagement, and the pursuit of a better future for our people. No act of intimidation or vandalism will deter us from serving the citizens of Kogi State,” Odaudu said.

The party called on the relevant security agencies to immediately investigate the incident, bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure that such acts of political thuggery do not recur.

Odaudu expressed gratitude for the solidarity already expressed by ADC members, supporters, and well-wishers and assured the public that the party office will be restored to full function without delay.
