Kogi State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), has applauded the Okun League of Progressive Elites (OLOPE) group for its strategic engagements aimed at ensuring the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in 2027.
Omodara gave the applause when he hosted the Okun League of Progressive Elites (OLOPE) group at his residence in Lokoja, Kogi state capital.
During the breakfast session to foster collaboration and discuss strategies to promote the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Commander Omodara highlighted the importance of vibrant pressure groups like OLOPE in showcasing the achievements of Governor Ododo’s administration. He emphasized that such groups play a crucial role in entrenching democracy and ensuring the state’s future success.
OLOPE Director General, Barr. Alfred Bello, outlined the group’s plans to launch an awareness drive to promote the continuity of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo in 2027. He stressed the need for collective efforts to achieve this goal and thanked Commander Omodara for hosting the group.
The event provided a platform for OLOPE to engage with the state security adviser and discuss ways to move the state forward. It demonstrated the group’s commitment to promoting good governance and democratic values in Kogi State.
