A former Deputy Governor of Kogi state, Arc. Yomi Awoniyi, has declared his support for the re-election bids of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Awoniyi made it clear that he stands firmly against coalition politics, opting instead to build on the achievements made under the current administration.
“I am 100% for Tinubu and Ododo continuity!” Awoniyi declared emphatically. “I won’t abandon the progress we’ve made to pursue needless coalitions.”
The former Deputy Governor expressed his strong backing for the Okun League of Progressive Elites (OLOPE) 4 TOC, a group dedicated to promoting the continuity agenda of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo. “Count me as one of you,” he said, signaling his unwavering commitment to the noble cause.
Awoniyi made this assertion at a meeting with the leadership of Okun League of Progressive Elites at his residence in Abuja, where he was recently decorated as an OLOPE 4 TOC Ambassador.
In his address, Director General OLOPE 4 TOC, Hon. Alfred Bello, emphasized the importance of Okun people and elites working together as a formidable team for the emancipation of their nation. He stressed that it is crucial for all to join hands together to support the continuity of President Tinubu and Ododo.
