Mr. Ahmed Tijani Oricha received a warm and rosy welcome from members of ANCOPSS, NUT, traditional leaders, and other caregivers during the official flag-off of the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) under the AGILE Program. The event took place at the prestigious Ohinoyi Palace in Okene.
As part of the ceremony, Mr. Oricha paid homage to His Royal Majesty, Alhaji (Dr.) Ahmed Tijani Anaje, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland. In a show of support and commitment to the initiative, His Royal Majesty graciously attended and blessed the opening of the CCT Sensitization Session.
Mr. Ahmed, the newly appointed State Project Coordinator, has risen through various administrative and leadership ranks over the years. His extensive experience and dedication are expected to galvanize and strengthen the successful implementation of the program.
The Conditional Cash Transfer is a key component of the AGILE Program, which also includes the rehabilitation of schools, provision of WASH facilities, ICT development, and other essential educational benefits aimed at improving the quality of education and student welfare across the state.
