A prominent figure in the Kogi state Social Democratic Party (SDP), and a two time Commissioner in Kogi State, Dr. Ali Ajuh, has extended his heartfelt appreciation to the dignitaries who attended the 8th day Fidau prayer for his late uncle, Chief (Alh) Usman Anyebe (Inalegwu).
In a press statement, Dr. Ajuh specifically acknowledged the presence of a high-powered delegation sent by Alh Murtala Yakubu Ajaka. The delegation was led by his Deputy, Sam Abenemi and included notable figures such as Col Suleiman Babanawa, Hon Isaiah Ijele, Hon Tijani Alfa, and Hon Tanko Odoma, among others.
“I was humbly overwhelmed by the tremendous show of love, prayers, sympathy, and condolence messages the family and I received,” Dr. Ajuh stated, expressing his gratitude for the support during this time of bereavement.
The SDP chieftain also further appreciated other personalities, including Hon Yakubu Aboh, former Chairman of Omala Local Government Area, and Hon Moses Idoko Ododo, former Assembly member from Dekina LGA and Hon. Gambo Mohammed from Ofu.
Dr. Ajuh concluded his statement with prayers for divine rewards for those who stood by him and his family during their time of grief. He also asked for God’s forgiveness and paradise for his late uncle.
The deceased, Chief (Alh) Usman Anyebe (Inalegwu), was a renowned community leader who held the esteemed title of Odoma Onu Ife Icheke. He was a respected elder statesman in Omala Local Government Area before his passage.
