The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, has extended warm felicitations to all Nigerians on the occasion of the nation’s 65th Independence Anniversary, which is being celebrated on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
In a statement released in Abuja, Hon. Meseko described the milestone as a moment for both celebration and deep reflection on the nation’s journey since gaining independence from Britain in 1960. He hailed the resilience, unity, and unwavering spirit of Nigerians as the enduring factors that have sustained the country through various challenges.
The APC Deputy National Spokesman acknowledged the current economic and social hurdles facing the country but urged citizens to maintain faith in the ongoing reforms under the “Renewed Hope” Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration. He stressed that the path to national rebirth and sustained prosperity requires the collective effort and patience of all Nigerians.
“Our 65th Independence Anniversary is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices of our founding fathers and the hope they placed in the future of this great nation,” Hon. Meseko stated. “As we mark this day, I call on all Nigerians, irrespective of tribe, religion, or political affiliation, to embrace the spirit of unity, hard work, and patriotism.
