Kogi State Commissioner for rural development Hon Enema Paul has said that about 500km of roads has been prioritized by the world Bank, French development agency and African development bank across the three senatorial district of the state under the third phase of the Rural Access And Mobility Project (RAMP).
The Commissioner made this known as part of the resolutions and post expectations of a one week seminar and sensitization exercise organized by the Nigerian Rural Access And Mobility Project (RAMP) at Abuja last week noting that Kogi is lucky have come thus far as he express hopes that Kogi State shall be part of the few states that will be selected to benefit in the final process which is scheduled to take place not later than July this year.
The seminar had in attendance minister of State for Agriculture and rural development(Sen Lapkobiri), World Bank representatives, delegates of the French Development Agency cum African Development Bank and the National Coordinator of RAMP among others.
The success of the projects shall therefore place the young Commissioner who seem to be up and doing in his mandate at a stable gapping among his contemporaries in the North Central and Nigeria at large.
