40 Days Fidau: Audu’s Vision for Kogi My Priority – Faleke

Running Mate to the late Prince Abubakar Audu in the last Governorship election in Kogi State, Hon James Faleke has declared that his major priority at the moment was how to ensure the implementation of Audu,s lofty campaign promises to Kogi electorates.
 
Faleke stated this on Saturday during the 40 Days Fidaus Prayer for the late former Governor attended by no 
 fewer than 80 Imams and islamic prayer warriors  at Ogbonicha, Audu’s hometown in Kogi State.
Hon Faleke who lamented the untimely death of Prince Audu whom he praised for outlining various programmes aimed at rescuing the State from underdevelopment promised the gathering that should the tribunal rule in his favour, he would ensure the speedy fulfilment of those programmes. 
Meanwhile, eldest son to the late APC candidate, Mohammed has said that Hon. James Faleke would continue to enjoy the support of the family and the entire Igala people, as he continues to pursue his mandate in the tribunal.
Mohammed who spoke just after the goodwill messages delivered by representatives of the three Senatorial districts who all eulogised the late former governor as an exemplary  leader, noted that the Audu political family was solidly behind Faleke  in his quest to recover his fathe,s stolen mandate through the courts.” Hon  Faleke has the capacity to carry on my late father’s vision as governor”,he stated.
 Faleke said his case at the tribunal was not based on self interest, but to get back the people’s mandate, stolen from them. 
Having worked closely with the governorship candidate, during the election campaign, Faleke insisted that he was in the best position  to actualize Prince Audu’s dream for the people of Kogi state. 
He vowed to utilize every legal means to pursue the the people’s mandate. He equally urged the people to bear whatever inconveniences that might arise, as it will only delay, but that justice would be served in the end. 
Other Prominent amongst dignitaries at the occasion were Minister of Science and Technology, Dr Ogbonaya Onu, former Deputy Senate President, Alh Ibrahim Mantu, National Assembly members, Captains of industry, and APC chieftains among others.
