A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as well as the Party’s standard flag bearer for Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro federal constituency for the 2019 general elections, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims has congratulated the Kogi state Governor on the occasion of his three years anniversary in office.
Hon Halims in his congratulatory message thanked the Governor for the almost completed reconstruction of Ankpa township road as he called on the governor to establish infrastructures that can meaningfully absorb he teeming youths of Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro federal constituency in gainful employments.
The reps hopeful who is hitherto a known lover of both human and social development stressed that infrastructures like agricultural processing industries, skill acquisition centres and ICT development institutes has enduring prospects of youth engagement that will help tame and curb restiveness in the area noting that idleness is the mother of all evil intentions.
It is worth of note that Hon Halims as chairman of Ankpa Federal Constituency “Elders Advisory Committee” made case for Ankpa township road by calling on the state government to mobilise contractors back to site during his last year congratulatory message sent to the Governor.
It can be recalled that Governor Yahaya Bello was sworn in on the 27th January, 2016 as the Governor of Kogi State fourth executive Governor of Kogi state and January 27th, 2019 brings it to exactly three years in office.
