The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State, Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has promised to lead with integrity, fairness, and transparency.

He made this known when he visited the Kogi State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) on Thursday.

In his maiden appreciation visit, Gambo expressed gratitude to the NUJ for their unwavering support during his quest for justice.

“Your backing means a lot to me, and I’m grateful for your trust,” he said.

Gambo, who was affirmed as the authentic PDP Chairman by the Federal High Court Lokoja on November 10, 2025, emphasized the importance of justice, equity, and fairness as the country approaches another critical election period.

“We must uphold the law and stand by the truth,” he said, appreciating the judiciary’s role in delivering justice and praying for their continued guidance.

The PDP Chairman urged aggrieved party members to put aside past grievances and join his leadership, stating that the party is poised to reclaim its position and take over Lugard House in 2027.

“We are the biggest opposition in the state, and we are set to reclaim our position and take over Lugard House in 2027,” he said, calling for collaborations that promote peace, progress, and security in Kogi State.

Gambo also expressed excitement about the party’s future, declaring that “Kogi PDP has bounced back.”

He thanked State PDP members for their resilience over the years and pledged to work together to build a better Kogi State, where everyone can live without fear of oppression.
