Chairman, Kogi state Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has expressed confidence that the party will defeat All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 governorship election.
In a statement issued in Lokoja on Saturday, after meeting with party members, Gambo said PDP will shock critics and stage a strong comeback in the 2027 general elections.
Gambo said the widespread disenchantment with the current administration and nostalgia for the PDP’s past governance will provide a veritable platform for the party’s resurgence.
“We are confident that come 2027, it will be a total sweep,” he said, attributing existing infrastructures in the state to PDP’s previous rule.
He urged Kogi people to remain united and calm, assuring them that the PDP’s return to power would bring an end to their suffering and bring development.
