The Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Olamaboro Local Government Area has officially thrown its weight behind a philanthropist, Prince Gowon Enenche (G1), urging him to contest for the House of Representatives seat in the 2027 general elections.

In a communique issued by party executives, including the local government chairman and secretary, at a stakeholders’ meeting in Okpo, the SDP deemed Prince Enenche fit to be the party’s flag bearer.

Addressing the meeting, Olamaboro SDP Chairman, Elder Kadir Obida, emphasized that Ankpa Local Government has been serving for 3rd consecutive terms with two different candidates, having taken over from Omala in 2015.

“Ankpa will have spent 12 straight years at the Green Chambers of the National Assembly. For equity and fairness, it is Olamaboro’s turn to represent Ankpa Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, and Prince Gowon Enenche, a son of Olamaboro, is capable and ready to serve,” Elder Obida stated.

The entire executive and stakeholders, at the end of the meeting, abide by this resolution and vowed to stick to it ahead of the 2027 electioneering process.
