The Kogi Frontiers Forum (KFF), after wide consultations with stakeholders, youth leaders, traditional rulers, professionals, and grassroots members across Kogi East, has formally endorsed Hon. Hillary Edime Ahmodu as our preferred candidate to represent Kogi East Senatorial District in the 2027 general election.
This decision was not taken lightly. It is based on competence, character, cultural identity, and a proven record of service to the Igala people and Kogi East at large.
To us at KFF, everything about Hillary Ahmodu is Igala personified.
From his intellectual contribution to Igala history and identity through the famous concept “Who Is Who in Igala Land”—which has preserved, documented, and promoted Igala personalities for over three decades—to his practical service as Administrator of Idah Local Government Area, Hon. Ahmodu has consistently demonstrated deep loyalty to Igala values, traditions, and development.
Hon. Hillary Ahmodu is not just from Igala land — he represents the Igala spirit: resilience, dignity, wisdom, and community service.
As Administrator of Idah LGA, he showed uncommon leadership. His tenure was marked by peace-building, inclusive governance, youth engagement, and people-centered administration. He understands grassroots governance, and he has walked the path of the ordinary Igala man and woman. This is the kind of experience Kogi East needs in the Senate.
Beyond identity, Hillary Ahmodu brings capacity.
He is an administrator, a banker, a public policy advocate, and a strategic thinker. He understands how institutions work, how budgets are negotiated, and how federal power can be deployed for local development. Kogi East needs a senator who can speak with confidence in Abuja and return home with results — not excuses.
The Kogi Frontiers Forum is particularly impressed by his long-standing commitment to youth empowerment, education, and economic inclusion. At a time when young people are losing faith in politics, Hillary Ahmodu has remained accessible, mentoring young leaders and encouraging civic participation across Kogi East.
We also commend his inclusive leadership style. While deeply rooted in Igala culture, he respects and works with all communities across the senatorial district. He believes in unity without erasing identity — development without discrimination.
In endorsing Hon. Hillary Edime Ahmodu, KFF is endorsing:
Cultural pride with modern leadership
Experience with integrity
Grassroots understanding with national vision
We believe the 11th Senate and the future of Kogi East demand a man who knows where we are coming from and where we must go. That man is Hillary Edime Ahmodu.
The Kogi Frontiers Forum therefore calls on all sons and daughters of Kogi East youths, elders, professionals, women groups, and traditional institutions — to rally behind this project of hope, competence, and Igala dignity.
Signed:
Comrade Yakubu Ibrahim
President, Kogi Frontiers Forum (KFF)
