Member representing Ikeja federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. James Faleke, has debunked reports on alleged one-term agreement on Kogi state governorship seat.
In a statement on Wednesday, Faleke refuted a viral report alleging that the Presidency directed former Governor Yahaya Bello and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, to honour a purported one-term agreement in Kogi State, in which he was allegedly involved.
Faleke stated unequivocally that he never had any discussion, nor privy to any conversation, arrangement, or agreement regarding a one-term deal in Kogi State or any related matter.
“At no point in time was I a party to such an agreement, whether directly or indirectly.
“Following the publication of this report, I have been inundated with numerous calls and text messages seeking clarification,” he said.
Faleke insisted that the report is entirely false, misleading, and should be disregarded in its entirety.
