Hon. Benjamin Ayodele Olobayo (BAO) has officially declared his intention to contest for Kabba-Bunu state constituency seat in Kogi State House of Assembly under the auspices of the Action Democratic Congress (ADC) in the forthcoming election.
Prior to this epoch-making event that had in attendance the crème de la crème of the society, political bigwigs and party supporters in Kabba, Hon. Olobayo made courtesy calls on the Obaro of Kabba, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi and his traditional chiefs, graded Obas across the town and political heavyweights in his party.
A frontline aspirant for 2027 Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu House of Representatives, Dr. Idris Rufus Oluwafemi (IDRUFEM) described Sir. Benjamin Ayodele Olobayo as a perfect gentleman, community developer and philanthropist who has done immensely towards the emancipation of Kabba-Bunu people.
The Local Government Chairman of the party, Engr. Kayode Andrew, used the momentous occasion to specifically set the records straight by saying, “Benjamin Ayodele Olobayo sacrificed his House of Representatives ambition to aspire for a lesser position for political expediency.”
He also used the occasion to describe him as a loyal party member who takes societal progress and development far and above personal egocentrism.
The House of Assembly hopeful, Sir. Benjamin Ayodele Olobayo (BAO) took the centre – stage, and deliver his people – centric manifesto which ranges from ~ effective representation, quality legislation, constituency development, youth empowerment, women empowerment, agriculture and rural development, education development, healthcare improvement, security and community safety, accountability and transparency etc to the admiration of the party faithfuls.
He thereafter used the medium to solicit for massive support and prayers of everyone in order to actualize his political ambition which he promised to be fair, just and equitable for the benefit of humanity on the long run.
