Ahead of the scheduled 2023 edition of Kogi Trade Fair, the local organizing committee (LOC) of the all inclusive business event earlier this week paid a courtesy visit to the office of the state’s Deputy Governor to discuss possible areas of partnership and support.
The team members where received by the Permanent Secretary to the office of the Deputy Governor.
Estate surveyor and valuer Zainab Obadaki-David who on behalf of the state government commended the organisers of the event for putting up such an historic trading activities for the economic growth and development of the state.
She said the state government readily welcomes lofty initiative and development concepts that would support the state government economic growth agenda stating that the trade fair would no doubt be of good benefits to the economic wellbeing of the citizens and residence of the state.
She expressed optimism that the event would further attract more business activities to the state and open the door for more business opportunities both locally and internationally.
She gave kudos to Governor Yahaya Bello for creating the needed enabling environment for business and trading activities to strive leading to the tremendous growth of the state economy being witnessed under his administration.
Earlier in his remarks the leader of the local organizing committee LOC aid they were at the Deputy Governor’s office to intimate the government on the level of their preparedness and to solicit for the government support to make the trading event a huge success
2023 Kogi Trade Fair, according to the LOC, promised to turn the business opportunities in the state for growth and development.
The Trade fair is scheduled to take place at Ultra Modern General Muhammad Buhari Civic Centre, Lokoja, between 27th November to 3rd of December 2023.
