Ahead of the much awaited presidential primaries of All Progressives Congress (APC), the GYB2PYB, Cross River state chapter, has resolved that all members must begin aggressive campaign for Governor Yahaya Bello in all 18 local government areas of the state.
This was part of the resolutions reached when the group met on Thursday at the cultural centre in Calabar to chart the way forward after Bello’s formal declaration.
In a communiqué signed by Chief S. I. Ayami, the meeting observed that so far among the presidential aspirants that have made their intentions known, none of them falls within the ambit of the #NotTooYoungToRule Act which was signed into law by President Buhari.
It was also observed that zoning will not be of public interest as credible aspirants will be shut out of the contest.
The group insisted that all aspirants should be allowed to submit themselves to the decision of the delegates at the primaries.
