The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Civil Service and Labour Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has said the victory recorded by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state is an open endorsement of Governor Yahaya Bello’s outstanding leadership and good governance the state has witnessed under his leadership in the last seven years.
In a statement issued in Lokoja on Monday, Adeyemi said the victory recorded by winning three Senate seats, six House of Representatives and twenty-two House of Assembly seat is a pointer to a victorious gubernatorial election for the All Progressives Congress later this year.
Omoluabi Adeyemi, who thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for providing leadership that produced the results of outstanding electoral victory, said the state is truly APC controlled and will repeat the same in the forthcoming governorship election in November.
He commended party leaders, executive members, stakeholders and indeed the people for believing in the party and her candidates and coming out to vote massively and overwhelmingly leading to the victory of APC during the election.
He assured them that the newly elected lawmakers will make the party, people and the state happy.
Omoluabi Adeyemi said the people of Kogi State have shown their love and appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello-led new direction government through the massive votes and unprecedented support the party has enjoyed in the various elections held so far.
He assured Kogites of Governor Bello’s commitment to providing more dividends of democracy to the state and good governance for the good of all.
He said the 2023 Kogi governorship election is a done deal already, urging the people to embrace APC for continuity of infrastructural development, healthcare delivery, security of lives and property. He challenge the party to work harder to achieve better results in November.
