A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and member of the APC Presidential Campaign Council in Kogi State, Dr. Ali Ajuh has assured members and supporters that the party will be triumphant in the forthcoming February general elections.
He made this disclosure at the flag-off rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Eastern flank of the state in Anyigba on Sunday.
Ajuh said “the 2023 election is looking a lot more like 2019 where APC secured an overwhelming victory with the calibre of personalities and mammoth crowd that graced the rally. And today, APC, as a party, is more stable, more united and we are not leaving any stone unturned in making sure our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and other national assembly and state assembly candidates win in their elections.”
The PhD holder in accounting added that, with what Tinubu represented and his manifesto, the APC candidate would bring about a better and more developed nation to the delight of Nigerian citizens.
He urged people to come out in their numbers to vote for the APC for the desired renewed hope they envisaged.
He also expressed his pleasure in the calibre of personalities that were seen at the mega rally, saying the APC is one big family and ready to drive home to victory come February 25th.
The Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, his deputy, Chief Edward Onoja; Major Gen Patrick Akpa (rtd), Senator Emmanuel Dangana Ocheja, Air Vice Marshal Usman Jibrin (former Naval Chief), AIG Abdul Salam Iyaji, AVM Usman Jibrin, Alh. Murtala Ajaka, Daniel Isah (Prof), who represented the Audu/Faleke group, and other top government functionaries were among dignitaries that graced the colourful event.
