33-year old commercial pilot, Captain Timi Iyela has promised the people of Okene/Ogori-Magongo federal constituency a breathe of fresh air.
Iyela made the promises during a chat with newsmen during the screening of National Assembly aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lokoja on Wednesday.
He said his energy and age would make him an active and not a sleeping lawmaker if elected.
Iyela said his aspiration to represent his people in the House of Representatives in 2023 is hinged on his capacity to offer quality representation, adding that his exposure and experience places him at a vantage to meet the yearnings of his people.
He expressed concern that after twenty years of democracy, the people of Ogori Magongo LGA have been marginalized.
He said the people of the Federal Constituency should use 2023 to correct the imbalance against the people of Ogori Magongo LGA in the National Assembly, pointing out that the area has capable hands to offer quality representation but have been sidelined over the years.
The young pilot said he looks forward to a platform that would bring the aspirants to a negotiating table and agree on a consensus in favour of his aspiration.
He, however, added that in a free and fair primaries, he will emerge victorious.
