A frontline Kogi governorship aspirant, Prince Dayo Akanmode has been appointed leader of Tinubu Support Group (TSG) in Ijumu local government area.
This was part of the resolution the TSG Leaders of Thought at a recent meeting in Ayetoro Gbede.
Aside Akanmode, the group named Hon. Dare Asanlaiye as the co-coordinator in line with the principle of even distribution, fairness and equity.
The leaders of thought passed a vote of confidence on Barr. Shola Charvid Aiyedogbon as the Chairman of the Elders Forum of the group.
They urged all leaders to work together to ensure seamless victory for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the polls in 2023.
Speaking at the meeting, Prince Akanmode said “this is best time to showcase the image of our own son Hon James Abiodun Faleke. The present political atmosphere would in no doubt serve as an avenue for us to give him the maximum support he needs,” while describing him as one of the major pillars in Tinubu presidential campaign team.
One of the prominent personalities and also a member of the steering committee of Tinubu Support Group, Ambassador Dapo Olutekunbi, emphasized the need to bring leaders of high repute whose mobilization capacity is beyond measure on board.
Amb. Olutekunbi noted urged all members of the committee to go back home and identify with those who can make things work for the progress of the party’s presidential candidate.
He charged all leaders to go back home for mass mobilization.
Other prominent members present at the meeting who made their marks were Chief Taiye Ikupeleye, Hon. Johnson Toluyemi, Hon. Dare Osawu, Hon. Boye Bello and others.
