I hereby make this public announcement with the full intent to suspend all my personal campaigns indefinitely. I confirm that I have no personal political ambition for the now. I am suspending my own ambition in favour of the ambitions of my favoured candidates.
Yes, it is true that I have once indicated interest in and campaigned for the position of a Local Government Chairman, but since the election is yet to hold, it is only logical to suspend such campaigns and collapse my structure at once until such a time when my ambition could be well streamlined and well targeted. I will not fail to consult widely when this time comes.
I want to thank my teaming supporters for their support and believe in me. I make a commitment to stand by my ideals and promises. As God lives, I will not fail you or your trust.
I have been quiet for too long because of political correctness and considerations; the fear of having to offend people and risking my political chances kept me mute. Having suspended my personal ambition, I wish I can say anything I desire to say without being reminded of the office I’m contesting for. I wish I can stand tall to fight for what I believe in and be responsible for my actions.
I also hope no one will worry about my political future. This is a part of me I have safely kept in the hands of God the Almighty – the One who knows the end from the beginning. He is the moulder of my Destiny!
From now forthwith, I will go all out for all the candidates I have chosen to support without fear or favour!
Going forward, I choose to speak my own words and be responsible for them.
Let’s go and take that mountain!!! Let’s go and win together!!!
