2019: Olamaboro Ward Leaders Endorse Bobby Ujah for State Assembly

Ahead of the 2019 general elections, community leaders in Olamaboro ward 2, in Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State, on Thursday, endorsed and threw their weight behind Comrade Bobby Ujah to contest and represent Olamaboro constituency in the State House of Assembly come February 2019.

The leaders made their position known when they received Comrade Ujah, who was on a consultation tour in company of members of his campaign team, to Etutekpe, Agbaduma and Ibana communities.

According to the leaders, Olamaboro constituency has never be lucky in the state, as wastage, mismanagement, lack of direction and poor knowledge of people oriented projects overcloud the constituency and the constituents are obviously tired of complaining hence the search and need for rescue.

Ujah, contesting under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), while presenting his letter of intention to the leaders, pledged his resolve to make laws that would impact positively on the lives of his people when given the opportunity.

Hhe said his plans include ensuring that he use his office to attract development to the people at the grassroots.

He maintained that, if voted in by 2019 he intend to take a drastic departure from what was obtainable where the people were grossly shortchanged and deprived of their democratic dividends.

He added that part of his plans for Olamaboro State Constituency was to ensure that apart from making effective and impactful legislation, and promised to work in harmony with the executive arm of government to enable the area enjoy a better lease of life.

The Special Adviser to the Chief Administrator of Olamaboro council on Media and Strategy, Comrade Ameh Williams, who was consulted on phone, vowed to ensure that all eligible voters in their localities are registered in the ongoing continuous voters registration.

He said they have taken a supervisory role in ensuring that every eligible voter are registered to garner support for President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello and all candidates of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state.

He stated that Governor Yahaya Bello, his Chief of Staff, Chief Edward Onoja and the Chief Administrator, Hon. Adejoh Nicodemus Friday (Adejoh Pexy) has embarked on people oriented projects, empowering thousands of women and youths, in addition to the transformation going on across the local government area and the state so, it is natural for people to identify with the best.

He appreciate his leaders for receiving the leading aspirant and promised to collaborate with him until success is achieved.
