The House of Assembly candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) for Lokoja II state constituency, Mr. Kunle Gilbert Orunja has assured that the people of constituency will soon begin to get all that belongs to them.
Orunja urged constituents not to lose hope in the current democratic process as very soon they are bound to witness the much talked about democracy dividends at their doorsteps.
In a chat with newsmen in Lokoja on Monday, Orunja described the 2019 House of Assembly election as a defining moment in Lokoja II constituency.
He expressed confidence that the African Action Congress as the party to beat in Lokoja II in the forthcoming polls.
He hinged his winning hope on the premise that the AAC is masses and people oriented.
According to the AAC candidate, over years the well-being of people of Lokoja II state constituency has been on a downward decline owing to bad representation of political actors in the PDP and the APC.
He asserted that enough is enough, as no politician would be allowed to experiment with the lives of the people again.
Orunja said the 2019election is a time when people of the constituency would choose between the good, the bad and the ugly. He warned the electorate against any form of complacency.
Warning the people against selling their conscience, Orunja described vote buying as practiced by the two major political parties as criminal. He described AAC as the credible substitute the people should look forward to.
If elected, the Oworo born politician promised effective and quality representation like has never witnessed before.
He said his priority would be the people, their welfare and wellbeing.
He stressed that theprovision of basic health facilities, education, potable water and electricity supply towards improving small scale businesses would occupy his priority.
The AAC candidate urged the people to embrace the party in Lokoja II, pointing out that the party has come to offer quality representation that would improve on the living standard of the people of the constituency who have long been neglected.
