Former House of Representatives aspirant for the Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency, Engr. James Akale has applauded the landslide win of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State.
Engr. Akale noted that the massive win of the APC at all levels in the just concluded elections was a testament of the people’s unalloyed support for the New Direction administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
He commended the leadership and astuteness of the Director General, APC Campaign Council Kogi State, Chief Edward Onoja and the APC National Women Leader, Haja Salamatu Baiwa in ensuring that no stones were left unturned in ensuring that electorates voted massively in support of the APC.
Engr. Akale used the medium to felicitate with the winner of the Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency, Hon. Hassan Baiwa of the APC for his landslide win against other opponents, adding that his victory was an acceptance of the party by the Dekina and Bassa people of Kogi State.
He lauded the leadership and members of the APC across all levels for their resilience, zest and commitment displayed in the just concluded elections.
Engr. Akale enjoined party faithfuls to work collectively to ensure a landslide victory for the All Progressives Congress and for Governor Yahaya Bello in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state slated to take place in November.
