Except there is a last minute change of plan, the information available at our disposal shows that the Senatorial Candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Kogi Central, Ms Natasha Akpoti is already under security investigation for being in possession of sensitive electoral materials even before the commencement of rescheduled election.

According to the information available to us, Ms Natasha Akpoti working in hand with the main opposition party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) fraudulently acquired Presidential and National Assembly ballot papers with the intention of using same to perpetuate electoral malpractices.

The information indicate that, Ms Natasha who is desperate to win a Senatorial election by any means went into an accord with the leadership of the PDP where the latter released the sum of  Fifty Million Naira (N50M) to her Campaign Organisation to cause chaos and violence across Kogi Central and of course procured sensitive materials now found in her possession after the election was postponed by INEC.

Haven failed to realise her aim occasioned by last minute postponement of elections, and being aware of security agent’s investigations, Ms Natasha Akpoti at about 6:48PM on 17th February 2019 on her facebook page displayed INEC ballot papers in her possession and raised false alarm claiming it was found in the house of an APC stalwart.

She went further to assert as usual that the ballot papers were later transported to the Governor’s house, therefore, police couldn’t access the house as a result of the his immunity. However, INEC has described Natasha Akpoti ballot papers as fake.

Again, we ask Ms Natasha Akpoti to explain how she got the sample of ballot papers yet to be used for an election if she still claims it’s genuine. Ms Natasha should also explain why this level of desperation to the extent of printing fake ballot papers to rig the senatorial election. A Candidate whose manifesto is anchored on the progress and development of Kogi Central shouldn’t have indulged in fraudulent means to win an election.

While we await the outcome of security investigation to unravel how and where Ms Natasha Akpoti got or printed the ballot papers, we once again cautioned the people of Kogi Central to be wary of a wolf parading herself as a messiah and saviour of the people. We believe with time, the people will discover the real person called Natasha.
