House of Assembly hopeful, Prince Jambright Sumonu has decried the state of roads in Iyara, headquarters of Ijumu local government area of Kogi State.
The royal prince noted that the state of roads in Ijumu coupled with closure of bank has crippled the economy of the area.
Jambright made this known in Iyara on Saturday in the course of his ward to ward mobilization for the forthcoming Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries.
The dogged politician appealed to party delegates to elect him as PDP flag bearer for the 2019 House of Assembly election.
He promised to add value to the economy of Ijumu land through qualitative legislation. He assured Ijumu electorate that he will leave no stone unturned to ensure the current state of roads and economic activities in the area are attended to.
He proudly displayed his clearance certificate enabling him to contest in the forthcoming primaries.
Prince Jambright thanked his supporters for their show of love and prayers, assuring that he will not let them down.
