Deputy Governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the forthcoming November 11, 2023 election in Kogi State, Dr. Omede Idris has called on the Muslim faithful to continue to demonstrate the fear of Allah in daily activities.

This, he said, is a key ingredient to build a better society.

If all of us can imbibe the fear of Allah and the virtues of the eid al adha sacrifice in our daily life, then our society will be better.

“In like manners, our systems and  institutions will develop for excellence when leaders display knowledge, skill, wisdom and the fear of Allah in taking key decisions,  that have overbearing effect on individuals and members of the community, state and nation.”

He urged the Muslim ummah to pray for Kogi state and the nation for greatness under a convivial environment.

Dr. Omede, who was a former President of Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), former President of Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN) and also a former Commissioner of Health in Kogi state, enjoined all to be peace loving and enthrone the ADC team of Leke Abejide and Omede Idris in the forthcoming 2023 governorship election in the state for good governance and enhance human and infrastructural development, under a peaceful and productive environment.
