100 Days in Office: Wada Commences Discussion with FG on Obajana-Kabba-Ilorin Road

In a state broadcast to mark his 100 days in office, Governor Idris Ichalla Wada announced that his government has commenced discussion with the Federal Government to undertake the rehabilitation of Obajana-Kabba-Ilorin road and seek reimbursement later.

He said such projects would bring great comfort to the people of the state.According to him, “most parts of our rural settlements which constitute over eighty per cent of the state, are still living without steady electricity power supply.”

“To address this problem, my administration has, in the last 100 days, committed over N120 million to electrification projects in 10 communities of the state.

“These are: Odar Adangere, Icheke, Okeoffin/Olle, Adangere Ugo, Ette-Odah, Okpakili Ate, Okpakili Ogane, Ofugo, Ogboyaga and Ogaminana.”
