Bajeh praised the administrator’s giant stride in the area of security of lives and property, noting that the vision of Governor Bello’s  administration is to have a secured state state, where the citizens can freely do their businesses without fear of molestation.

He called on the other administrators of the remaining council areas to emulate the modest efforts of the Administrator of Adavi LGA in touching the lives of the people at the grassroot positively.

Speaking also, Hon. Enesi blamed the cases of insecurity in the state especially Kogi Central Senatorial district in the past  to some of the past leaders who allegedly empowered the youths with weapons for political activities.

According to him, security of lives and property as prioritised in the New Direction administration of Governor Yahaya Bello and adopted in the area, has drastically reduced social vices in his domain.

“I want to appreciate the Governor of Kogi State for his bold step in combating insecurity in the state especially Kogi Central. We are unfortunate to be reaping the seeds of thuggery sowed by our past leaders who equipped our youths with weapons”, he lamented.

The council boss said apart from several youths and women empowerment schemes, his administration has paid WAEC fees for thousand of indigent students in the area so as to improve the quality of education.

He added that his administration has equally carried out  repair work on some boreholes across the LGA,  paid hospital bills for many patients and rehabilitated several feeder roads that linked Adavi with other local governments to enhance economic activities.

He maintained that the era of government’s programme being shrouded in secrecy is over, saying that  transparency, accountability and fairness are the watchword of his administration.
