A vibrant Kogi commentator, Umar Dan’Assabe Muhammed has reviewed the performance of Kogi State Governor, Captain Idris Wada on the last one year and concluded that the pilot is yet to start the plane of governance in the confluence state.

He posted his review on the social media today:

“One Year Of Captain Idris Wada’s Administration and we have not been able to start the plane yet. It is no longer a magic view the deplorable state of Kogi State Infrastructures and civil service. This administration has chose to propagate the deplorable condition of the state for the past one year without doing anything to improve the life of her citizens. At this time a year ago, Kogites were jubilating that an educated elite has been elected Governor of the state. The expectation of the people then, was that, the state is going to witness rapid development and growth. But reverse is the case a year after.

“In other not to be too hard on the Governor, below are the project executed by the administration.

1. Erection of Round-about at the front of Government house without expanding the road, thereby, causing traffic jam and accidents around the vicinity.(and we have an architect as the deputy)

2. Renovation of Commissioners Quarters.

3. Imposition of curfew that has lasted over 5months.

4. Frequent Abuja Permutation.

5. Flood beging.

“Please take note that this Government has taken advantage of the recent flooding in the state to enrich itself from the monies and other materials from well wishers which was shared amongst the administration’s cohort without it properly reaching the affected Kogites.

“The most annoying aspect of it is that majority of the administration’s praise dogs goes around stating that the recent flooding is the reason why the administration has been unable to carry-out developmental strides. This excuse is totally unguided and filthy. We all know that, the flooding took place at the tail end of 2012. Moreso, i dont know how that flooding could have hindered developmental strides from this administration. Flood didnt stop the administrators from thinking, the flood also did not submerge the entire state.

“According to a friend of mine, he said, you shouldnt expect much from an administration that started with controversy. From the Primaries to election proper to swearing-in to speakership crises etc. Please note that this administartion’s existence is the most litigated in Nigeria.

“The second year of this administration has began and it is not yet late for it to start aggregating the interests of the people and and start the plane. We accept that one year has gone because, the plane had no flight route and destination. It is not too late to get one and take-off.”
